Our Team

Bradley Northcote

President

I am married, have 2 sons and 2 dogs. I love coaching and playing soccer with my sons. I love spending fun time with my family outdoors.

Why am I passionate about serving on the Amani Foundation? I was born and raised in a third world country, knowing first hand the lack of daily necessities in life such as water and education families need. Our passion to help others encouraged some amazing friends to come together to form the Amani Foundation. We look forward to you being a part of the Amani Foundation family as well. Join with us in changing lives and creating opportunities in communities that need love and care from you.

Alfred Bahati
National Project Manager, Kenya

I am happily married to Irene and we have 4 wonderful children. I enjoy working out and spending time with my friends and family. In addition to my work with the Amani Foundation, I'm the co-founder and director of the Amani Children's Home. Together with my wife and an amazing staff, we've created a full-time home for over 50 children who are victims of abuse and neglect or have been orphaned by domestic violence, HIV, drug abuse and other tragic situations. Another 50+ children come to the home every day for meals and education.

I love working with The Amani Foundation as the Kenyan National Project Manger! We have brought hope and help to some of the hardest places in my country. From clean water to agricultural development to educational assistance, The Amani Foundation is making a lasting impact in Kenya!

Board Member, Vice President

I'm a former lawyer, patent attorney and biochemist. I work in the pharmaceutical industry working on corporate strategy and M&A, and currently work in Business Development & Corporate Strategy. I love to see people discover their hidden potential. Whether it is coaching, encouragement, an opportunity or tools, people are often just 1 or 2 shifts away from a breakthrough. One of the main ways that I get to work toward my purpose is by serving on the Amani Foundation Board.

When I am not serving my work, my family or my church, I love watching/playing sports, kayaking, diving, fishing, boating and going to the beach. I am married to my wife Jennifer and we have 1 son, Isaiah. My wife and I had the privilege of helping to form the Amani foundation back in 2017.

The Amani foundation works to equip indigenous organizations to transform their communities. This is literally my God given purpose. I am so blessed that I get to be a part of The Amani Foundation!

I'm married to my best friend Helen and we have a growing family, including two beautiful grand-babies! I love serving at our church, wood working, smoking various meats and the outdoors.

I've had the honor of traveling across the world and I've seen the effects of poverty up close. I know that in many places and for many people, all they need is a little assistance so they can thrive. We started the Amani Foundation as a way to bring hope and help to organizations and communities struggling to meet daily needs. In our short time as a non-profit we've seen dramatic, life-giving change happen through generous people.

Treasurer

I'm an avid cyclist and enjoy making & playing classical guitars. I work in the commercial architectural millwork industry, where I get to design and make some pretty cool things. What makes me passionate about the Amani Foundation is being part of a team that puts others ahead of themselves and being able to witness the life-changing results.

I am a certified critical care nurse with a BSN and LSSGB certification. I enjoy volunteering, participating in fitness activities, reading and writing healthcare and leadership articles. The majority of my time is spent on a baseball field with my son Caleb and labradoodle, Lily. I was inspired by the impact of clean water during a mission trip to Kenya to pursue safe water for all people.

I am passionate about serving with The Amani Foundation because of their commitment to breaking down barriers between people and access to safe water.

Jackie Joseph

Secretary

I am married, have 3 daughters and 2 dogs. I love to read and spend time with family.

The Amani Foundation is doing amazing work to meet the needs of children in Kenya. I am honored to be part of the board where I am able to live out my God given purpose to serve others near and far.

Born in Baltimore, MD, I currently live in Harford County, MD with my husband, Tim, and three sons. I love to serve my community as a local business owner and the broker of Compass Home Group, a real estate firm helping over 200+ families move each year. I enjoy time with my dogs, a good bath, relaxing at home, the beach and mostly enjoy being with family and friends.

I was drawn to The Amani Foundation because of my heart for children. Recognizing that water is life changing for children, it remains a cause that I stand behind.

I love BBQ, Boston, Tom Brady and fall weather.

I’ve witnessed first hand the amazing work that this foundation produces. Every decision that is made solely focuses on serving those in need by bringing clean water to underserved populations in Kenya. The Amani Foundation is laser focused on its mission and being a part of it is a blessing.
