HEALTH - Medical Camps
GOAL: $20,000
The Amani Foundation is partnering with a dedicated group of doctors and nurses in Kenya to host three free medical camps. This group of amazing medical professionals have already hosted 11 camps this year serving over 64,000 people with free medical services like wound care, cancer screenings, dental work, optometry services, wellness checks and medications. These camps are hosted in some of the most poor and marginalized areas of Kenya.
In February of 2023 The Amani Foundation would like to fund two of these camps which will be at partner locations; The Amani Children’s Home and The Shujja Community Center. Combined, these camps will serve roughly 4,000 people with life saving medical services. Your donation will help us with purchasing desperately needed medications and supplies.
WATER - Well Construction
GOAL: $25,000
Kajiado is in Eastern Kenya has been experiencing a two year extreme drought leaving the residents with little options for water. The drought in this region has decimated livestock to dangerous levels. This means that families have run out of food and financial resources. Our goal is to provide a solar powered, deep borehole well that will provide clean, reliable water for 2,000 people. This well will be absolutely life changing to the community and schools of Kajiado.
100% of these funds will go to the Operation: Health + Water projects.
